Abstract
Purpose: This study was designed to generate a monoclonal antibody P7 against human CD27, which is costimulatory molecule, for use in the treatment of immune tolerance by using the DNA sequence coding for the variable regions of antibodies.

Materials and Methods: cDNA sequences coding for the variable regions of heavy and light chains were synthesized using the RNA extracted from a P7 hybridoma clone.

Result: Monoclonal antibody P7 was generated using the DNA sequence of antibodies raised against CD27.

Conclusion: A novel monoclonal antibody (P7) was generated using the DNA sequence coding for the variable regions (heavy and light chain) of antibodies raised against CD27, a costimulatory molecule in human immune system.
